- At least four days rent a car (a lot of great places for day trips)
- The Casino in Monaco is overrated. Café de Paris offers OK food at OK prices
- Best time to people watch is after 10pm (22 00)
- Although the drive by the Mediterranean is longer it's a lot more pleasant
- If you have a hard time sleeping ask for a room facing the garden not the street
- During football tournaments, bike races, car races expect fans rocking all night
- If you are going to go back to a Beach Club choose a waiter who is walking fast.
- Order from the same waiter all the time asks him if he is working the next day.
- Give him 10 euro tip at the end of the day (this gets you a lot since nobody tips)
- Next day you get a bunch of freebies and frequent ice refills and VIP status.

- First week in July a lot of sales start for summer clothing. Including famous names'
- If you booked a room on the internet make sure the picture of the room is standard room
- If it is not call the hotel directly and ask how much it would be for an upgrade.
- Many times it is cheaper to do it directly than on line.
- If you have a computer sign up for Skype and take headphones & microphone with you
- If you have to be accessible: buy an orange phone chip with free incoming calls (around 30 Euros)
