- Start going to bed later than you do four days before your trip
- Wake up later; do not have coffee until an hour after you wake up
- Do not eat too much before or during the flight
- Drink lots of fluids but not much alcohol
- During the flight try to walk around, stretch, do neck rolls
- If your luggage is heavy use a cart
- After you land, try to go in sunshine or a well lit place, spend time there
- Do not take a nap for more than an hour in the afternoon
- Go to bed at a time close to bedtime at the new time zone
