- Keep your video and camera in a well padded cheap bag (a Nikon bag is very attractive for thieves) a cheap camera bag is more likely to be returned than an expensive one
- If you see a sign "attention pickpockets" do not touch your wallet pocket
- The thieves usually wait close to these signs to see where you keep your money
- Do not use ATMs in dark unsafe places
- Some businessmen carry 2 wallets in unsafe cities one to give to thieves and a hidden one
- Keep cancelled credit cards some needless business cards and about $30 in small bills in it
- Make sure your laptop and your telephone has a password to access info
- If people ask to use your telephone for an emergency you dial the number
- If you are in an accident ask the persons phone number, dial it to make sure it's correct
